Beware Fraudulent E-Mails and Websites

Unfortunately, financial scams are rampant on the internet, including fake emails, purportedly from well-known firms or management personnel at well-known firms as well as fraudulent websites that mimic or copy the content of legitimate websites.

SHUAA Capital is aware of the existence of certain entities or persons that are conducting such financial scams using SHUAA Capital’s name or the identity of SHUAA Capital’s management, as well as copying and using SHUAA Capital’s tag line, logo and marketing materials (including, without limitation SHUAA Capital’s website) in their documentation.

Some of the entities involved include “SHUAA Capital Assurance plc”, which purports to be registered in Gibraltar and has offices in West Sussex, United Kingdom, but the company also operates under the names “SHUAA Capital Underwriters Ltd,” “SHUAA Capital Surety Underwriters Ltd.,” “SHUAA Capital Insurance,” and “SHUAA Capital Insurance Group.”

SHUAA Capital psc confirms that it is not connected in any way to any of these entities or persons and is not responsible for any transactions entered into by these entities or persons. SHUAA Capital and its management do not conduct any business or financial transactions via personal email or internet networking sites and do not solicit investments or financial transactions in this manner.

If you are contacted in a suspicious manner by anyone claiming to be acting on behalf of any SHUAA Capital entity or member of SHUAA Capital’s management without a formal introduction and through appropriate business channels (e.g., through internet networking sites, private emails etc), please forward the relevant email to emailfraud@shuaacapital.com.
