Amer Khan joined SHUAA Capital Asset Management in August 2008 as a senior member of the investment team. Having gained significant experience in MENA markets covering petrochemicals as well as other sectors for the fund management team, he was given the responsibility of managing third party funds as well as Shariah-compliant discretionary portfolios in 2009. Mr. Khan currently manages the Arab Gateway, Saudi Gateway as well as the Emirates Gateway funds. Prior to joining SHUAA Capital, Mr. Khan was a Senior Research Analyst for Lusight Research covering Emerging Markets with a focus on Agribusiness and Automotive companies, as well as specializing in pre-IPO and bespoke research for portfolio managers globally. His work experience prior to Lusight included business analyses at STTS Ltd and a risk management apprenticeship at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. Mr. Khan holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Western Ontario.
