Maher R. Hammoud

Head of Strategic Investments and Corporate Planning

Maher Hammoud is in charge of the Group CEO Office, responsible for all elements of corporate planning and managing SHUAA Capital's strategic investments. In this role, Mr. Hammoud advises on the corporate strategy to senior management and SHUAA Capital's Board of Directors. Mr. Hammoud represents SHUAA Capital on the Board of Directors on a number of companies.

Mr. Hammoud is also Executive Director at SHUAA Partners Ltd., the Private Equity arm of SHUAA Capital. Mr. Hammoud has been involved in acquisitions, divestures and business restructurings in the GCC, Levant and Egypt. Mr. Hammoud was a member of the investment committee and served on the Board of Directors of a number of portfolio companies.

Mr. Hammoud holds a Masters in Finance from London Business School (UK), MBA from the Lebanese American University (Lebanon), and Bachelor of Science from St. Mary’s University (Canada).
